Thought For The Week - Liedentity Too

"The greatest tragedy is not that we are not enough, but that we believe the lie that says we can never be different. The 'Liedentity' convinces us that we are a finished product of our past mistakes, rather than a work in progress in the hands of the Creator." — DLL... The reason we fail to see life as a "privilege and opportunity" is often because we are too busy "considering the things of old." The Liedentity functions on rehearsal—rehearsing our failures, our traumas, and our limitations. It creates a "wilderness" in our minds where we feel stuck. You can choose to overcomer this death spiral.
God’s kindness is revealed in His desire to do a "new thing." The "Becoming" requires a holy amnesia regarding our old labels. If we don't "perceive" the work God is doing in the now, we remain blind to the gift of the journey. To fall in love with the Becoming, we must first agree with God that our past is not our architect—He is.
Isaiah 43:18-19 "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
