Thought For The Week - Seeking Peace

“If your peace depends on everything going right, it’s not peace, it’s control. Learn to be steady in uncertainty. That’s real growth.” — Arben Kanani
If interested in learning more, please take a moment to read a verse from the Bible that aligns with Arben Kanani's statement :
Isaiah 26:3 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Biblical peace is not the absence of trouble — it is the presence of trust. Control seeks certainty. Faith rests in God’s character. When circumstances shift, the unanchored heart panics. But the mind fixed on the Lord remains steady — not because the storm has passed, but because Christ is present.
Growth happens when we stop demanding guarantees and start trusting God in the unknown. True peace is learned under pressure.
It is forged when control is surrendered and confidence is placed fully in Him. Be steady.
God is faithful — even here.

Answers a lot of that angst and insecurity...
There is great wisdom in this comment. At 60 years old, I can't say I've ever thoroughly thought that through to that point. I am challenged each day to live a life representing God in positive powerful ways but I'm also challenged and how to apply that principle, what does it look like to do that? This post enters a lot of the angst and insecurity I have had surrounding that goal. Thank you.
