"Choices Have Consequences...some good and some bad with long-term impact...so choose wisely.” - MB

We make hundreds of choices each day with most being autonomic. But then there a few choices requiring our brains to kick in. Unfortunately, there are also some choices which invoke our feelings and emotions to weigh in. You know the choices I'm referring to like throwing a co-worker under the bus to hide your shortcomings OR not telling your spouse or significant other the truth about what you were looking at on your phone last night OR donating the money you saved for a special vacation to a neighbor down on their luck OR choosing to bite the hand that feeds you because 'you feel' like you aren't getting what 'you deserve.'

The point is we should seek to use wisdom for every significant choice we make. We MUST contemplate the consquences. Be honest with yourself about being accountable to your choices and the resulting consequences. Slow down your decision making process...don't act impulsively. Be other centered in your assessment of consequences.

And how do you become wise? With experience and maturity. If you don't have either yet, then seek someone you trust who does have wisdom to obtain input on your choices,

Wisdom is defined as a skill for living, rooted in the fear of the Lord and expressed through righteous choices

Proverbs 19:8 'The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.’
