Thought For The Week - Fear Is A Liar

A "spirit of fear" is not a personality trait. Fear is a liar! It tells you that the "results" are too risky and that the cost of your calling is too high. It feeds on "what-ifs" while starving your soul of the "I AM." True intentionality is the recognition that fear has no legal standing in your life. You were created with the power to act and a Sound Mind to stay focused on the mission. When you feel the grip of anxiety or the hesitation of doubt, you aren't dealing with a lack of courage—you are dealing with a counterfeit authority. What are you fearful of today? Is it fear of failure, fear of man, or fear of the unknown? Identify the specific lie that fear is whispering and replace it with a specific Promise. Walk in Power...the Power of Jesus Christ! The Creator did not issue you a spirit of cowardice
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Fear is a liar that uses the breath of your own imagination to whisper that God is not enough
You overcome the spirit of fear by standing on the Promises of God until the lie loses its voice. Stop negotiating with a spirit that God has already defeated.
