Thought For The Week - Persistence Is A Vital Element In Achieving Success

"It’s not that I’m so smart, it’s just that I stay with problems longer." — Albert Einstein.

Genius and talent are highly overrated in the marketplace. The world is full of brilliant people who started fast but quit the moment the trench got muddy or the "creditors" started shouting. The ultimate differentiator is simply the refusal to give up the ground. Fortitude is the capacity to stay in the pocket with a problem long after the initial adrenaline has evaporated. It is the grit that keeps driven people moving forward when every muscle is screaming to halt. The friction of high-level management is designed to wear you down. But weariness is a feeling; quitting is a choice. The harvest is not a lottery; it is a mathematical guarantee tied directly to your endurance. The only way you lose is if you exit the field. Stay with the problem. Outlast the friction.

Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Paul’s warning to the Galatians acknowledges a harsh reality: you will be tempted to become weary. Do not give up and you win.
