Thought For The Week - The Words You Use Define You

"Speech is power: speech is to persuade, to convert, to compel." — Ralph Waldo Emerson... Most people speak carelessly, treating their words like exhaust fumes rather than weapon systems. They speak their fears, narrate their anxieties, and broadcast their bitterness, completely unaware that they are actively poisoning their own soil. But if you are a Steward called to occupy territory and lead human affairs, you must recognize the absolute power of the tongue. Your words have the power to persuade teams, convert adversaries, and compel resources into motion. Conversely, they can speak death over a vision, a business, or a household. When you complain about the "wind," you are using your power to reinforce the storm. When you speak alignment, precision, and the promises of the King, you are reshaping the atmosphere of the trench. You will eat the fruit of whatever your mouth produces. Speak with the weight of a commander who expects his orders to be executed.

Proverbs 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

God did not think the world into existence; He spoke it. And as an image-bearer, your speech carries a creative—or destructive—jurisdiction.
